杻阳之山，有兽焉，其状如马而白首，其文如虎而赤尾，其音如谣，其名曰鹿蜀，佩之宜子孙。
杻阳山上的鹿蜀，形如白头之马，身有虎纹、赤色尾巴，鸣声似人吟唱；佩戴其皮毛可使子孙兴旺。
A horse-bodied beast with a white head, tiger-stripes and a crimson tail whose call is like a chant. Wearing its hide is said to bless one's descendants.
